Responsible partnership throughout the value chain
We are committed to respect and fairness throughout the entire value chain and rely on strong partnerships to achieve this. The added value of sustainable suckler cow husbandry and pasture grazing should be adequately rewarded in order to preserve it in the long term. At the same time, we ensure that high-quality food is available at fair prices, thus ensuring that everyone can play their part in sustainable agriculture in Switzerland.
Association members – the farming families
The value chain starts with our members: the farming families. Anyone who is a member of Beef Cattle Switzerland and supplies animals for one of our labels undertakes to comply with clearly defined standards – not least in terms of husbandry, feeding, animal welfare and sustainability.
Labels such as Natura-Beef and Natura-Veal belong to the association and thus to the producers themselves.
